GRANT REQUEST FORMS:

Associate Member Inservice Project (.pdf)

 

WMEA is pleased to provide member assistance in the form of associate member grants, regional assistance rebates, and support for the Connections project.

WMEA ASSOCIATE MEMBERS INSERVICE PROJECT:

  • Associate Members can request funding of up to $500 to help with start-up costs for new projects that provide inservice for teachers.

WMEA REGIONAL ASSISTANCE REBATE:

  • All 22 WMEA regions will automatically receive money each September to provide services to members at regional events.
  • $100 plus $1 per WMEA member in the region.
  • No application is necessary.  Contact your region president to find out how these funds will be used in your area.

WMEA CONNECTIONS:

  • WMEA is working to provide extra support for new music educators.  The program is in its infancy, and its goal is to provide support to music educators in those difficult first few years of teaching.
    • WMEA matching up new music educators with experienced WMEA members as mentors.
    • There is also an online Connections Forum that allows members to post questions and others to provide answers.  Login to WMEA Members-Only to find a link to the Connections Forum
