Job Description
Musically Minded, Inc. is a music education business focused on early childhood music education. We are seeking a long term substitute from December 2010 through March 2011. If interim candidate excels in position there may be a possibility of staying on permanently.

Job Title: Early Childhood Music Educator, Long Term Substitute December 2010-March 2011

Goals & Objectives (Essential Job Functions) of the Position:
1. Must energetically teach our Early Childhood Music Education curriculum to children, newborn to age 6, in childcare settings in & around Seattle
- Requires a strong love for music and children
- Requires the ability to play the guitar & have vocal skills
2. Must be a self-starter, working independently while traveling between locations
- Requires the willingness to travel around the Seattle area using your own transportation
3. Must provide a safe, enjoyable and inviting setting for all children participating
- Requires an open mind & training on our curriculum which will lay the blue print for your teaching and success
4. Maintain & grow relationships with Directors/Teachers in childcare centers

Employment Requirements:
Work: Experience working with young children required
Education: BA or MA in Music Education required
Certificates & Licenses: Teaching certificate preferred
Skill: Guitar & vocal skills required

Salary:
DOE - $20 - $30/hour in class, $10/hour out of class

Working Conditions:
Hours: 20 hours a week of teaching time
Location: Greater Seattle Area
