This is a 0.8 FTE position with the potential to add a 0.2 by fall, teaching Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble and Percussion Ensemble as well as Field Show and Parade Band. Application Procedures:
Application materials may be submitted at any time; however, to be considered for open positions, you must express your interest by identifying the specific job title and number in a letter of application. As positions open, they will be advertised with college and university placement bureaus, in the local newspaper and on our district web site. Applications remain in active status through December of each year. If for any reason your employment status, address or phone number change, please submit notification of that change in writing to the Human Resources Department.

The following materials are required in addition to the appropriate application forms:
Letter of application and résumé. (Include specific job number.) Please address letters to Nora Klewiada, Executive Director of Human Resources.
College placement file. Contact your college or university placement office to send your Confidential Placement File to our Human Resources Department. (Your Placement File is a confidential file that contains personal data, supplemental candidate information, summary of coursework/workshops, transcripts, evaluations, and letters of recommendation.) If you do not have a placement file, submit three (3) letters of recommendation.
Transcripts (official or unofficial) for each college and/or university you have attended.
A copy of your Washington State teaching certificate(s) or permit. If your Washington State certificate is pending or you are anticipating receiving an additional endorsement, please check the appropriate box(es) on the Certification Insert. If you are interested in substituting, please enclose two (2) copies of your certificate.
