Accompanist
Enumclaw, WA

Job Description
Cascade Foothills Chorale ( www.cfchorale.org ) is seeking an accompanist. We rehearse September through June on Thursday nights from 7-9:15 pm in the Enumclaw High School Choir room. We perform two major seasons per year with concerts in December and June, along with other community performances such as food bank benefits, parades, assisted-living/nursing home facilities among others. Compensation is $1500.00 per season, including three non-major performances, payable at the end of the season. Additional performances, as determined by the Executive Board, are compensated at $50.00 per performance. While a degree in music is appreciated, it is not mandatory. However, applicants need to provide sufficient background as a choir accompanist.
Application Procedure/Contact Information
Applicants will need to furnish a resume, at least three letters of recommendation, participate in a questionnaire provided by the Board, as well as perform during an audition with choir members. Music will be provided in advance, plus one piece will be presented as a sight reading audition. Deadline for all applications is July 3, 2010. Audition dates to be posted. Applications need to be mailed to CFC, P.O. Box 1347, Enumclaw, WA 98022.
