Long Term Orchestra Sub Issaquah, WA
Job Description This is a .8 long-term orchestra sub position at Pine Lake Middle School in the Issaquah School District while the director is on maternity leave. The position will start in mid-September 2010 and will last through June 2011. There is no travel for this position, all classes are located at Pine Lake MS. Courses taught: 2 sections of 5th grade beginning orchestra (Monday/Thurday and Tuesday/Friday) 6th grade orchestra 7th grade orchestra 8th grade orchestra We are looking for someone with orchestral experience or formal orchestral training, as this will be starting new students as well as building the program to the advanced middle school level. We do at least three large performances during the school year, and each grade level has different activities such as a field trip to perform at the Puyallup Fair in September for the 7th grade, and assemblies, festivals, and a performance/workshop at Disneyland for the 8th grade.
